A two-day expert meeting opened on Tuesday, 24 April 2018 in Abuja, attended by representatives of ECOWAS Member States, but also Mauritania, Chad and the Central African Republic.
Experts from these countries, along with other stakeholders, reflected on solutions to the great challenge of conflicts between farmers and herders in the region, the meeting of Ministers of Security and Agriculture / Animal Resources of ECOWAS states, followed on Thursday 26 April 2018.
