On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, ECOWAS will launch, through its Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF), nine (09) new field projects on social safety nets for food and nutrition in West Africa. This initiative benefits from the financial support of the Spanish Cooperation through the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID).
These nine successful projects are the result of the second call for proposals for $ 2.2 million initiated by the RAIA on 24 February 2017 and of which 291 proposals for concept notes were received. The selection of the projects proposed by the tenderers was done in two stages, namely the evaluation and the selection of the project summary notes and the evaluation of the detailed proposals of the said projects whose short notes were selected during the first stage of the project. evaluation (60 short notes).
