Regional Farmers' Forum in West and Central Africa from 8 to 12 April 2018 in Nouakchott (Mauritania)

The IFAD-supported Regional Implementation Forum for West and Central Africa is jointly organized by IFAD and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. It will bring together the key personnel of the 39 ongoing IFAD-supported projects and programs in the region, as well as representatives of Governments and Farmers Organizations (POs) from the 23 partner countries of the Private Sector Partners, NGOs, Universities and Research Center, as well as IFAD country office and Headquarters staff in Rome.

The Regional Forum is an important platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge. It represents an opportunity to discuss recent developments, highlight IFAD’s strategy and the Portfolio’s performance in the region to jointly decide on the way forward to improve our results and the effectiveness of our interventions in the region. livelihoods and livelihoods of the rural poor.
