From 6 to 9 March 2018, the ECOWAS Commission, with the technical and financial support of IFPRI and the facilitation of the RURAL HUB organized in Saly Portudal, the evaluation and revision clinic of the National Investment Plans Agricultural, Second Generation Food and Nutrition Security.

The workshop, which was part of a mutual learning and capacity-building approach, was assigned the purpose of assessing and revising the content of the NAFSIPs in light of the adjustments that IFPRI made to work on country profiles and simulations on scenarios for agro sylvo pastoral and fisheries development in each of the fifteen ECOWAS countries. The clinic followed the one in October 2017 in which states and IFPRI sought to better document the basics of modeling using data that countries were required to provide.
