Sub-regional Agricultural Cereals Market (Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo) on 20 and 21 July 2017 in Lomé (Togo)

Since July 2015, the Network of West African Cereals (ROAC) has retained as one of its activities to achieve its objectives, the periodic organization of the Regional Agricultural Exchange that has taken shape since 2015 with technical support and financial support of USAID Trade and Investment Project and Africa Green International NGO.

The objectives of this 6th edition of the cereal exchange are as follows:

- Promote the matching of supply and demand for cereals to meet the needs of different regions;
- Promote the marketing of cereals from surplus production areas to deficit regions;
- Promote the strengthening of relations between cereal operators in the subregion;
- Bring the players towards a structured trade in cereals.

The participants are:

- Producers and producer organizations
- Traders / traders,
- Cereal processing units (SME / SMI, industries);
- Institutions in support of the promotion of the structured trade in agricultural products in West Africa (ECOWAS / ARAA, BOAD, BIDC, USAID, UEMOA, ECOWAS, CTA, etc.).
