The overall objective of the Agriculture, Environment and Water Resources Specialised Ministerial Committee meeting is first to assess the state of implementation of the ECOWAP, and secondly to adopt, validate initiatives and programmes to operationalize policy instruments and launch (i) the Regional Food and Agriculture Agency and the “Hunger Free” Project.
