Workshop to share tools to improve the quality of secon generation of NAIP in the ECOWAS area, from 6 to 7 July 2017 in Dakar (Senegal)

As part of the process of defining National Plans for Agricultural Investment and Quality Food and Nutrition Security, the Regional Technical Support Group for the ECOWAP / CAADP process will meet in Dakar from 6 to 7 July 2017 for a Workshop to share tools to improve the quality of PNIASAN.

The purpose of this meeting is to see: (i) what is available (approaches, analysis and tools) at the IFPRI and FAO levels to improve the quality of NAIRPPs (including the matrix of policy reforms Public and private sector mobilization); (Ii) how to take advantage of the IFPRI / ReSAKSS / AGRODEP, FAO and AfricaLead teams to support their target countries and other ECOWAS countries; (Iii) how to set up a program of joint missions to the IFPRI, FAO and Africalead target countries and other ECOWAS countries to assist them in their technical work and in the mobilization of decision makers and TFP; (Iv) what is the best date and best agenda for the second regional clinic focusing on quality assessment of available draft documentss.
